Have questions? Our FAQ covers booking, availability, helmets, kid seats, e-bike classes, trail etiquette, and support—everything to ride Bentonville.
Bentonville, Arkansas. More importanaly, where are you? Because we provide free delivery and pick up to the Bentonville, Rogers and Bella Vista areas. We are more than happy to deliver to your home, rental house or deliver to one of the local trail heads, between the hours of 7:00 am and 9:00 pm.
By not being limited by the constraints of store hours, we are able to offer delivery times as early as 7:00 am and pick-up times as late as 9:00 pm, the same day. Essentially, you can ride for an additional 4 hours, if you choose to do so. Ride earlier, later and longer.
Yup. Even the best shredders don’t stay pinned on every trail. Your dome is important and we got you. Helmets are included in the price of your bike rental. Please include the size needed in the “Additional Order Info” section, during checkout and get ready for the gnar.
One day is when the bike is delivered and picked up on the same day. A rental day is not a 24 hour period from the time of delivery. If a bike resides with you overnight, it will be considered a minimum of a 2 day rental and billed accordingly.
Reservations must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled reservation. All reservations are subject to a 10% non-refundable cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled prior to 24 hours before the reservation will be refunded in full minus a 10% non-refundable cancellation fee, or may be issued a raincheck for another date. Rentals cancelled with less than 24 hour notice will not be refunded but will be offered a raincheck for another date. Exception to this policy: If weather makes it unsafe to ride we’re happy to provide a refund (minus 10%) on the day of your rental or provide a raincheck for a safer time.
There are several trails that can safely be ridden when the trails are wet. Coler Mountain Bike Preserve and The Back 40 trail system both have wet weather routes that can be found in the Trailforks app. Tunnel Vision on the Little Sugar system is also a great option and we can confirm that Hobbs State Park can be ridden while it’s actively raining (yep, we’ve gotten caught in the rain there a couple of times). For up to date, real time weather conditions, check out https://www.flowfeed.app/.
Battery life is dependent on a number of factors including the rider’s total weight with their pack, assist level used and trail conditions (steep rocky climbs use more battery than flat trails). Our Trek Rail 7s have a 625 watthours Bosch battery, one of the best in the industry, which offers up to 50 miles or 5 hours of continuous assist on easy smooth terrain. But don’t worry, if you think battery life will be an issue we’re happy to provide a charger so you can get a quick charge while you take a lunch or dinner break.
We have paper maps for some of the most popular trail systems but our awesome trail builders are adding new Oz trails all the time. The best way to access the most up to date maps of all we have to offer in NWA is to download the Trailforks app in the Apple or Android apps store. We’re always happy to offer trail suggestions, too. Just let us know what kinds of trails you like to ride (flowy, chunky, cross country, etc.) and we’ll share our favorites! There are several bike guides services in the Bentonville area, as well. We recommend Ozark Bike Guides and Slaughter Trail Guides for a great experience.
Keep in mind, those guys (and ladies!) have been riding for years! Always ride safely and follow the “Pre-Ride, Re-Ride, Free Ride” mantra. Skills clinics are a great way to expand your skills and increase your confidence on the bike. We recommend Cognition Coaching, The Ride Series, and Women of Oz for group clinics or private coaching.
Sure thing! Just put 123 Main Street, Bentonville, AR 72712 in the address section and in the notes let us know you will provide the exact address at a later date.
If we are available and have a back-up wheel, we will be more than happy to help. But, it is ultimately your responsibility to repair or replace the tire prior to returning the bike.
We offer an optional Damage Waiver Protection for an additional 10% of the overall cost of the rental. The Damage Waiver fee covers damage to the bike up to $500 retail value; you are responsible for any damage above this amount. This is an inexpensive way to feel confident when you rent our bikes. We highly recommend this added protection, as most of the damage to our bikes has historically been items covered completely, such as: bent wheels, broken derailleurs, broken brake levers, ripped saddles & slashed tires. The Damage Waiver Protection must be purchased BEFORE you ride.
Please remember, regardless of whether you purchase damage protection or not, YOU are ultimately responsible for the bike you rent.
The Damage Waiver Protection does NOT cover theft of the bike while in your possession or if you do not return the bike. It also does NOT cover structural damage/cracks to frames, taco-ed/severely damaged wheels, bent forks, damages caused by improper transportation, damages caused by riding above the design intent of the bike (large drops and jumps), theft or loss of any equipment, damages caused by fire or underwater submersion, deliberate destruction, abuse or vandalism by the renter or other parties.
